Artemio Ortiz holds a Bachelor's of Science degree in Theology, a Master's degree in Theology, a Doctoral degree in Theology, and is an Ordained Minister. He assists at A New Today in many capacities to include Office Management, billing of Third Party Insurances and conducting Pastoral Counseling.
Shauna N. Ortiz holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and a Master’s degree in Guidance and Counseling. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor, Board Approved LPC Supervisor, Nationally Certified Counselor, as well as a Licensed Sex Offender Treatment Provider Supervisor. She is the Director of Counseling at A New Today Counseling Services, PLLC.
Rosario A. Mendoza is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Sex Offender Treatment Provider who holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and a Master’s Degree in Guidance and Counseling from the University of Texas at Brownsville. She is currently providing the following therapeutic services: anger management, substance abuse counseling, grief counseling, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, group counseling and family therapy.
Jaime Flores is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Licensed Sex Offender Treatment Provider in the State of Texas. He has a Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. He has worked in the field of Mental Health and Intellectual Developmental Disabilities since 1979. Additionally, he worked for 23 years as an adjunct instructor of Social Work at the University of Texas at Brownsville and the University of Texas at PanAm.
David A. Chong M. is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Texas who holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of Montemorelos in Nuevo Leon, Mexico and a Master’s Degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from the University of Texas at Pan-American. Since 2012, Mr. Chong has been working with At-Risk youth and their families and currently serves as a Mental Health Counselor with A New Today Counseling Services, PLLC. He is currently providing the following therapeutic services: Anger Management, Substance Abuse Counseling, Grief Counseling, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy, Group Counseling, and Christian Counseling.
